THE PRACTICE OF DR. PATRICK L. OUSBORNE AND DR. THOMAS C. KELLER

The dental practice of Ousborne and Keller has been exceeding patients’ expectations since 1964. Dr. Albert Ousborne who practiced for 53 years until his retirement in November 2017, along with Dr. Thomas Keller, his partner of 38 years, earned a reputation for innovative smile care. Both doctors have been featured multiple times in Baltimore Magazine’s article ‘The Best Dentists as chosen by their Peers.’  At Ousborne and Keller, the question is not “how many patients have we treated?”  but rather, “have we treated all of our patients in the finest way possible?”

There’s a good reason that Baltimore’s elite trust their smiles to Ousborne and Keller. First, forget everything you’ve ever experienced in a dental chair. Put it behind you. Here, you are not just another set of x-rays. Here, you are an individual with personal dental needs and wants to be discovered and fulfilled.

When you enter the office, you don’t have to figure out what to do or where to go. Someone is always there to greet you, offer you a cup of gourmet coffee or a selection of teas and a variety of fresh baked cookies. This concierge-styled approach helps to reinforce our desire for excellence and is undoubtedly, the overriding principle for this 5 star practice of distinction.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE…THAT’S A STEP ABOVE

Ousborne and Keller is a specialty practice that concentrates on restorative care. Our doctors and hygienists have extra training and expertise in the creation of crowns and bridges, implants, esthetic procedures, and preventative continuing care. These services are the foundation for a beautiful smile and the very foundation of our reputation. At Ousborne and Keller, our practice is staffed by two Prosthodontists: Dr. Albert Ousborne, Jr. and Dr. Patrick Ousborne, and one General Dentist: Dr. Thomas Keller. All have exceptional education and extensive experience in cosmetic, crown and bridge, and implant dentistry.

Rest assured that our training never stops. Each year our dentists and clinical staff continue to perfect their talents, taking far more than the standard required hours of continuing education, to keep abreast of the latest, most effective procedures. Additionally, Ousborne and Keller annually host an informative and entertaining dental seminar, inviting our referring partners and colleagues to join us in learning the newest trends and technology as the future of dentistry is discovered.

WORKING AS A TEAM TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL…A MORE HEALTHY PERFECT SMILE

No dentist is an island. Your finest treatment requires teamwork. Creating the perfect smile for you means that we openly share ideas from one practitioner to another.  We regularly hold practice meetings to discuss particularly intricate cases to ensure that your teeth, in conjunction with your overall health, receive the best possible care, and we are all committed to helping you look and feel your very best.

Furthermore, because of our commitment to our profession, we insist on the latest techniques and materials available. Our array of dental technology includes such innovations as Intraoral cameras to offer an up-close look at your mouth,  iTero™ digital impressions for crown and bridgework, Cerec for digital same visit, all ceramic crowns, Velscope for annual oral cancer screenings and Diagnodent Laser for the early detection of cavities.

We have a team of three highly trained registered and certified dental hygienists talented in maintaining your healthy smile.  We routinely perform oral cancer screenings, periodontal gum disease detection and blood pressure monitoring.  At every hygiene visit, the hygienists check for disorders that affect your head, neck and mouth such as tooth decay, broken or fractured teeth and/or fillings, as well as gum diseases, which include gingivitis and oral cancers. It is important to us that you have regular dental examinations to ensure there are not any progressive problems that might lead to discomfort, expense, or tooth loss.

The exceptional Dental Assistants are proficient in answering any questions you may have regarding your dental treatment.  They also attend annual continuing education seminars held by certified dental organizations, and are motivated to make your dental experience comfortable, pleasant, and even fun.

Our professional Treatment Coordinators are ready to help you with scheduling an appointment and answering any concerns.  Although our practice does not directly participate with any dental insurance plans, we will, as a courtesy, assist you in submitting your claim to receive your maximum insurance benefits.

Every member of our staff annually completes national cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association for the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) program. This includes proficiency in the use of a cardiac defibrillator. The Doctors and clinical staff take additional annual classes in OSHA infection control and Medical Emergency Preparedness, as well as participating in the P.A.N.D.A. program (Prevent Abuse & Neglect through Dental Awareness).

At Ousborne & Keller, you can rest assured that every member of our staff understands the importance of personalized dental care and carefully adheres to the profession’s highest standards to achieve the ultimate results possible for each patient’s functional and aesthetic needs.

The only way to truly appreciate the kind of personalized care offered exclusively by Ousborne & Keller is to call (410) 828-1177 or email info@ousborneandkeller.com and schedule an appointment. Once you do, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

Dentist in Towson, MD

I have been a patient of Ousborne and Keller for 12 years and the care and clinical treatment is excellent. I have had a number of implant crowns and sometimes complex dental restorations with very good success. O&K are always open to questions and suggestions about my dental care.”

Everyone is so nice at Ousborne and Keller. Definitely it’s a Five Star practice. Dr. Ousborne and his team are great. They use all the latest technology and try to make my visit as quick and easy as possible. I searched the Internet looking for a dentist, and I’m so glad I found them. I just learned that some of my neighbors go there, too.”
